Website recovery objective
The website had initially suffered from poor SEO performance under previous contractors, and after a year it was eventually hit by a Google filter. Our primary objective was to remove the website from the search engine filter and then continue improving its organic search visibility and rankings.
Project implementation
The first step was to replace the existing domain with another trusted local domain, as the original domain had accumulated a significant amount of spam, which was the main reason the website was filtered.
In addition, we used Google Search Console to reject toxic backlinks. The old domain was then redirected to the new one using a page-by-page 301 redirect strategy in order to preserve as much of the remaining high-quality backlink profile and link equity as possible.
We also set the goal of maximizing the website’s coverage of relevant search queries and expanding its semantic keyword coverage, with a focus on further organic traffic growth once the website had been removed from the Google filter.
To achieve this, we carried out detailed keyword research and analyzed the website’s target locations and service areas. We also optimized the website’s URL structure and overall site architecture.
Thin and insufficient content across the website’s catalog pages was rewritten and expanded to provide the appropriate level of depth and relevance. The number of unique, more informative listings with original content was also significantly increased.
Using an existing PBN network, we strengthened the website’s local backlink profile based on an expanded anchor-text strategy. In addition, a substantial number of crowd-sourced links were acquired.

Results of the Google’s filter removing
Within three months of starting the recovery process, the website’s organic traffic increased from just 1–2 visitors per day to 1700 daily visitors.
We not only managed to restore the website’s previous rankings but also significantly improved them and expanded its overall keyword coverage, resulting in substantial growth in organic search traffic.
